A helicopter lands at the newly commissioned Helipad at the San Fernando General Hospital. This Helipad, a modern Accident & Emergency Care Unit and a soon to be established Burns and Plastic Unit form part of the Advanced Trauma Care Programme of the SWRHA for the San Fernando General Hospital.

Smiles and cheers all round as the sod is turned to start construction of the new Princes Town District Health Facility. Empowering the community. That's the aim of the SWRHA as it seeks to help the community take ownership of its health facilities. In this picture, members of the Cedros Health Management group turn the sod to mark the start of construction of the new Cedros Health Centre.
