Health centres closed for
renovations
The North West Regional Health Authority (MERHA) is advising the public that the Macoya/Tunapuna, Tacarigua, Arouca, La Horquetta and Maloney Health centres will be temporarily closed for renovations. Expansion and improvement work will be completed within nine months of construction date. In the interim other arrangements have been made to accommodate services of the health centres at new locations. The Tacarigua Health Centre will reopen today at 267 EMR, El Dorado, Tunapuna. It will be closed from October 9-15. The Macoya/Tunapuna Health Centre will be closed from Wednesday through to September 24 and reopened on September 25 at 267 Eastern Main Road (EMR), El Dorado, Tunapuna. The Arouca Health Centre will be closed from September 19-26 and reopened on September 27 at Kantac Plaza, EMR, Arouca. La Horquetta Health Centre closes from September 25 to October 1 and reopens Wednesday October 2 at La Horquetta Regional Complex, Phase II, La Horquetta. Maloney Health Centre will be closed from October 2-8 and reopened on October 8 at Maloney Gardens Community Complex, Maloney Boulevard, Maloney. NWRHA apologises for the inconvenience and said it is necessary to effect renovations under the Health Sector Reform Programme.
